An Iconic Bar in The Rocks
The Observer is an iconic Sydney Pub that has been around since 1848, when the Moore family originally ran the hotel. A fresh new life has been pumped into this classic Rocks bar, celebrating life’s greatest pleasures, eating and drinking.
Located in the heart of the historical Rocks area, the hub (our public bar) offers a range of craft beers, on-tap cocktails with delicious, fresh flavours, whilst the curated menu has a classic style with a modern twist and a range of standard pub fare. There is something for everyone from tourists to locals alike.
With a range of areas to be enjoyed, there certainly is something for everyone at The Observer Hotel – from a quiet ale in The Hub (our public bar), to a hearty meal in the dining room or an al fresco Sunday session out in Mill Lane – we’ve got you covered!
With a vibrant make over, this contemporary Rocks bar is the social hub to pull up a seat and enjoy a beer or wine or one of the many cocktails on tap.
Soak up the sunshine nestled under the leafy canopy provided by our trees, enjoy a drink or two and a relaxing dining experience with a meal from the kitchen.
